Art may be an illusion, but it illuminates reality.

I live with my young family in a village nestled at the foot of England's North Downs, and I love the folds and drama of the chalk hills and the exhilaration of the climb to the long ridges. This landscape is my inspiration and, frequently, my subject.

I work in several media, including oils, acrylics and inks. I paint, draw, and create relief prints (woodcut and linocut). Rural and urban, flora and fauna, people and inanimate objects - all are potential subjects.

Gold and Grey - oil
Celtic Dragons - woodcut
Summer Tree Sky - inks
